Alison Skilbeck

Alison Skilbeck has been a trainer with RADA Business from the start. She is an actress, director, and writer, and for 25 years a freelance Associate Teacher at RADA, specialising in Shakespeare and serving on the admissions panel.

She has a degree in Spanish and French from Oxford University, and trains in both languages, most recently in Paris, Madrid and Mexico.

Her stage career has taken her from Alan Ayckbourn’s company to the West End, to Europe, and with Shakespeare tours to the US. Her television work ranges from Sherlock Holmes via Soldier Soldier and Doctor Who to Call the Midwife.

Her continuing acting career, in particular her three 5-star one-woman shows, exposes her to the fears experienced by clients, and to dealing with wildly differing audiences.

Alison works with the full range of RADA Business clients, from UCL to Stella McCartney and Bulgari, in full-day and one-to-one sessions.
