A poem of remembrance at the Royal Albert Hall
To mark the end of the centenary of the First World War, The Royal British Legion in partnership with Never Such Innocence invited young people aged between 9-16 years to create a piece of art, poetry or song that said thank you to the generation that served - as part of their Thank you competition. A selection of the competition winners will take part in the Festival of Remembrance at the Royal Albert Hall on Saturday 10 November 2018.
Supporting young people to find their voice is something that’s essential to us, and we’re pleased to be a part of this celebration by coaching Lucy Attrill, the winner of the 11-14 category – so that she can deliver her poem with confidence this weekend. Lucy will read her poem as part of the show at both the afternoon matinee and the evening performance.
